Remanufactured Pumps
ZM Technologies remanufacturing programs now leverages our partnership with Ampco Pump Company to provide our customers with an exceptional value, and fast turnaround service. The program allows you to send ZM Technologies your existing service pumps to be remanufactured, and have it returned in “as new” condition.
Remanufacturing a used pump is a significantly lower-cost alternative to purchasing a new replacement pump. This program restores your Waukesha® Universal 1 and 2 Series style pumps (from the 006 to the 520) to its original performance and efficiency. All completely remanufactured pumps are performance tested and include a full one-year warranty.
ADVANTAGES of the ZM Technologies’ Remanufacturing Program:
- Ampco Pump Company is located next door to ZM Technologies in Stockton, California
- Two-week turnaround from the time you issue a purchase order for W220 and below.
- Four-week turnaround from the time you issue a purchase order for W320, W420, W520
- Gear case is sandblasted and powder coated
- Pump body and cover are re-machined to bring back original tolerances and efficiency *
- New over-sized Alloy 88 rotors
- Same upgrades as new Ampco ZP pumps
- 17-4 PH shafts
- Stainless steel bearing retainers
- Helical gears
- Anti-microbial lube
- Gasketed clean-out plugs
- Completed pump is performance tested
U1 & U2 PD Pump Remanufacture and Repair Options:
Option 1:
Complete REmanufacture
- Machine housing and cover to accommodate oversized rotors.*
- Recondition gear case including powder coating finish.
- Replace all other parts including rotors, shafts, bearings, bearing retainers, gears, jam nuts / rotor nuts, seals and elastomers.
- Performance test before shipment.
- One-year warranty.
- List price is 70% of new pump price.
- Possible adders: We will notify you if the housing, cover, gearcase or ferrules are not salvageable or if the pump requires excessive clean-up.
Option 2:
Fluid end only recondition
- Return entire gearcase / pump assembly to ZM Technologies.
- Machine housing and cover to accommodate oversized rotors.*
- Replace rotors, jam nuts / rotor nuts, seals and elastomers.
- Re-shim pump.
- Performance test before shipment.
- No work done on gear case other than re-shimming.
- No new warranty except on replacement parts.
- List price is 50% of new pump price.
- Possible adders: We will notify you if the housing, cover, gearcase· or ferrules are not salvageable or if the pump requires excessive clean-up.
Option 3:
Inspect and repair
- Customer sends complete pump to ZM Technologies for inspection.
- Nominal Inspection Fee
- We will tear down the pump and prepare a report on recommended repairs.
- We will invoice for approved replacement parts and labor.
- Performance test before shipment.
- No new warranty except on replacement parts.
- The nominal inspection fee will be waived if a complete rebuild is purchased.
